Quitman sits right on the Cleburne–Faulkner county line, on the south side of Greers Ferry lake country — 15 to 20 minutes down the road from our Heber Springs shop. This isn't a town we drive an hour to reach. It's the next community over. Cattle and pasture operations, hay ground, hunting land and lake lots on the south shore make up most of what we see out here, and it's ground we already know because it's ground we already work.
Being this close changes the math on a few things. Quitman falls inside our 30-mile aggregate radius, so a tri-axle load of gravel is $400 flat — material and hauling both included, no mileage tacked onto the invoice like there would be on the far side of the county.
